Universal Orlando is a must-visit place for any theme park enthusiasts. This place is well-known for its family rides and attractions, especially at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. However, the site also boasts many coasters that will make any adrenaline junkie’s day.

When you travel, you always want to take the best rides at Universal Orlando. Universal Orlando has two theme parks – Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Each has several passages, shows, and attractions you’ll want to see. Here are some tips to help you navigate the park like a pro.

While there are plenty of guides to Universal Orlando, none come with insider tips and secrets that only Universal’s team knows. That’s why I’m sharing some insider tips and tricks to help you have the best Universal Orlando experience possible.

This episode is dedicated to my son, who has autism. I decided to share my experiences at Universal Orlando with my readers because I think it’s very important that people with mental illness know that some places in the world understand their challenges and still want to give them a good time. This means you don’t have to be alone in the struggle to make the best of things.

When to go during peak or off-season

Going to Universal’s not always necessary when it’s at its busiest. Sometimes, it’s better to visit during the off-season.

Here are some things to consider:

Universal has an official low season, which runs from November to April. During this time, the parks are usually less crowded, and ticket prices can be reduced by 20% to 50%. During the low season, fewer events occur in gardens.

While the off-season is not officially defined, Universal Studios has typically been quieter from June to September. The parks are less likely to close early or extend their hours, and the crowds are much smaller. This makes it easier to enjoy a ride or meal.

Plan your trip well in advance.

With all the excitement around the opening of the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter, planning a trip to Universal Orlando can be difficult. But don’t worry. Plenty of great options exist for those who want to visit the parks during the summer.

You can visit Universal Orlando on weekdays for much cheaper than a weekend. Plus, you’ll be able to enjoy the parks all day long instead of spending half your time waiting in line.

Book Universal CityWalk Hotel

One of the best ways to maximize your Universal Orlando vacation is to book a hotel closest to the parks. CityWalk is the entertainment district that houses Universal Orlando’s hotels, restaurants, and shops. It’s the perfect place to spend your time between park visits.

Universal CityWalk is also a great place to go after a day at the parks if you want to relax and enjoy a drink. It’s also a good place to eat and stay. You can grab a quick bite to eat at any number of restaurants or spend the night at a Universal hotel.

Visit Universal Studios first.

Universal Studios is the first park when you enter the Universal Orlando Resort. It is more accessible to guests and less crowded than Islands of Adventure.

While the theme park is pretty large, only about five major rides will keep you busy for at least two hours. The best rides are Shrek 4-D, Revenge of the Mummy, Shrek, Despicable Me 3-D, and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.

Book Universal Studio’s parking

You’ve already paid for parking. Now it’s time to see how you can maximize your trip.

Universal Studios Florida is a park with more than 30 rides and shows. The two main sections of the park are Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. Both have parking lots, but you’ll find that parking at Universal Studios is better.

The good news is that four options are available for parking at Universal Studios, all located near the main entrance. The bad news is that they are all expensive.

Universal Studios has three parking lots:

The first is the Standard Parking Lot. It is located just across from the main entrance and is fairly large. There are about 4,000 parking spaces available here. It costs $14.

The second is the Valet Parking Lot. It is directly adjacent to the main entrance and has about 2,000 spaces available. It costs $17.

The third is the Universal Express Parking Lot. This special lot is only for guests who have purchased a Universal Express Pass. It has about 1,500 spaces available. It costs $20.

The fourth is the Universal CityWalk parking garage. It is located across from the main entrance and is only for guests staying at Universal CityWalk hotels. It has about 3,000 spaces available. It costs $15.

While the Universal Studios lots may be pricey, they are also convenient. They are all within walking distance of the main entrance and close to many rides.

Frequently Asked Questions Universal Orlando

Q: What are some tips for taking great rides at Universal Orlando?

A: Before going on any rides, go through security. If you don’t, you might be turned away at the gate or have to wait longer than you want. You also need to bring your ticket and proof of age. Finally, try to ride every single ride at least once. Some people only go on the most popular rides, but that isn’t necessarily the best way to enjoy a park.

Q: What should I wear when visiting Universal Orlando?

A: It depends on the day and where you’re going, but dressing appropriately will improve your experience.

Q: Do you have fun stories about riding the rides at Universal?

A: There’s no such thing as too much fun. If you go on a roller coaster that has loops, I recommend taking one last breath before you start looping around.

Top Myths About Universal Orlando

1. You can’t take a ride unless you book it first.

2. You can’t take a ride until after it opens.

3. You have to wait in line for every ride.

Conclusion

Universal Studios Florida is the place where the magic begins. From the classic movies of the 1940s and 1950s to the thrill of the new Harry Potter attraction, it’s the place to start the adventure of a lifetime. The theme park is in Orlando, Florida, just a two-hour drive from New York City. It’s also one of the world’s most visited tourist attractions, attracting over 50 million guests annually.
